As you can see the old but good Basic V2 is still a great programming environment for making new games for Commodore 64. Now you can play a very old Arcade classic videogame named Crazy Climber known from 1980.
Crazy Climber was the third highest-earning arcade game of 1980 in Japan while also being a commercial success in North America.
This game is a great example of how simple ideas can be turned into fun games. The player can move in just two directions to avoid obstacles.
The object of the game is to guide the climber to reach the balloon (which evidently someone will have lost) avoiding the closed windows (the climber slips on the glass…).
